After breakfast, you will visit several temples in Vientiane, including Wat Si Saket with its thousands of Buddha images and Wat Ong Teu Mahawihan, a key national center for Buddhist studies built in the 16th century. Next, head to Wat Xieng Khuan, or Buddha Park, featuring a collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures by the Mekong River. Your journey continues in Luang Prabang, where you'll explore the central market and enjoy overnight accommodation in Luang Prabang.

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, depart for Vang Vieng. Here, you will encounter a beautiful, turquoise-blue river that is clean, refreshingly cold, and abundant with fish. You can take a hot, sweaty bike ride along the bumpy dirt roads. Additionally, there are large plastic slides and rustic wooden huts with tin roofs along the water where you can relax with food and drinks. You will spend the night at a hotel in Vang Vieng.

After breakfast, included in your Laos tour package, we will visit the Tham Jang cave, a historic hideout from invaders. We’ll cross the river to Ban Huai Ngai, a charming village that offers a glimpse into local life. As we leave Vang Vieng, the roads may worsen, but the stunning mountain scenery will keep the journey engaging. We’ll pass through Kasi and Phoukhoune, arriving in the UNESCO-recognized town of Luang Prabang, known for its beautiful temples, colonial architecture, and peaceful atmosphere. Your overnight stay in Luang Prabang is included in the tour package.

Your breakfast in Luang Prabang is included in your tour package. Afterward, your guide will take you to Wat Visoun to see the remarkable Wat Makmo stupa, built in 1796. Next, visit Wat Xieng Thong, known for its unique architecture and the stunning “Tree of Life” mosaic. Then, climb the 355 steps to Mount Phousi, with rest stops along the way, where you can enjoy views from the gilded stupa at the top. After descending, explore Hmong Market, featuring traditional handicrafts. Later, return to your hotel for rest and overnight accommodation in Luang Prabang.

We will have breakfast at the hotel before taking a cruise upstream on the Mekong River for stunning views of the countryside. Next, we’ll visit the Pak Ou Caves, filled with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues. Then, we'll stop in Ban Xanghai, known for its local rice wine. Finally, we’ll drive to Ban Xang Khong village to see beautiful hand-woven silk fabrics. After the cruise, we'll return to Luang Prabang for overnight accommodation.
