Today morning, after breakfast, experience an exciting safari in the jungle in southern Nepal, where we ride on elephant back in search of one-horned rhino and many other wild animals. Later in the afternoon, you will take a canoe ride along the Rapti River (On your Own). Today, early morning visit Sarangkot viewpoint to witness a beautiful sunrise over the Annapurna ranges & Fishtail Mountain. Return to the hotel for Breakfast. Post breakfast, proceed for an hour boat ride at Phewa lake followed by a half-day sightseeing of Pokhara, visiting David's fall, Bindabashini Temple, Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave, and International Mountain Museum. Today morning after breakfast, enjoy half day guided tour of Pashupatinath, Boudha, Swayambhunath & Sleeping Vishnu. Pashupatinath, the most famous Hindu temple in the country, is located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Here we see Hindu holy men (sadhus) meditating, pilgrims bathing and occasionally funeral pyres burning on the Ghats. Bodhnath Stupa, one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world, where we observe Buddhist monks in prayer in the monasteries surrounding the Stupa. Swayambhunath Stupa, perched atop a hill on the western edge of Kathmandu Valley, the ancient Swayambhunath Stupa (known to tourists as the Monkey Temple) is Kathmandu's most important Buddhist shrine. The sleepy, all-seeing Buddha eyes that stare out from the top have become the quintessential symbol of Nepal. Later return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu. |
