Tbilisi 5N - Gudauri 1N

After breakfast, embark on a journey through Georgia’s history and vibrant capital. First, visit Mtskheta, one of the oldest cities, and explore the Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Then return to Tbilisi to see the Holy Trinity Cathedral, or Sameba.  Your walking tour begins at Europe Square, visiting Metekhi Church and taking a cable car to Narikala Fortress. Don't miss the Mother of Kartli monument and the Abanotubani District, known for its sulphur baths. Enjoy the scenic Legvtakhevi Waterfall before having free time to explore Rustaveli Avenue for souvenirs and shopping. After a day of sightseeing and shopping, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Tbilisi.

After breakfast, proceed towards the beautiful Kakheti Region, one of Georgia's most famous destinations. The journey through Kakheti offers beautiful countryside, vineyards, and picturesque mountain landscapes. On the way, stop at the traditional village of Badiauri. Here, experience authentic Georgian flavours by tasting delicious freshly prepared local bread and cheese. Continue towards the beautiful hilltop town of Sighnaghi, popularly known as the “City of Love.” Located on a hill and surrounded by valleys, Sighnaghi offers magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and the distant Caucasus Mountains. Continue towards the peaceful Bodbe Monastery, an important spiritual destination in the Kakheti region. Optional and upon request, guests may visit the KTW Winery and enjoy a traditional Georgian wine tasting experience.   Return towards Tbilisi and visit the impressive Chronicle of Georgia monument. The massive stone pillars feature sculptures representing important events and personalities from Georgian history and Christianity. Later, return to your hotel. Overnight in Tbilisi.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for an exciting excursion towards the spectacular Dashbashi Canyon, one of Georgia's most unique natural attractions. Located approximately 1,110–1,448 metres above sea level, the area offers a completely different landscape from the surrounding countryside. Explore the spectacular Dashbashi Canyon, known for its dramatic natural landscape and fascinating ecosystem. The canyon is home to beautiful vegetation, natural waterfalls, and a distinctive microclimate. Walk through the area, admire the natural surroundings, and take photographs. Experience the spectacular Diamond Bridge, one of the major highlights of Dashbashi Canyon. Later, return towards Tbilisi and stay overnight.

After breakfast and hotel check-out, begin an exciting journey through Georgia's historical landmarks and spectacular mountain scenery. Your first stop is the fascinating ancient Uplistsikhe Cave Town, located near Gori. Uplistsikhe is an ancient settlement carved into rock and features caves, tunnels, and historic structures. Continue towards the historic Ananuri Complex, one of Georgia's most picturesque architectural landmarks. Stop at the beautiful Jinvali Reservoir, famous for its striking blue waters surrounded by spectacular hills and mountain scenery. Enjoy free time for photography before continuing your journey towards Gudauri. Continue through the scenic mountain roads towards Gudauri, a mountain resort. Visit the famous Gudauri Monument, a spectacular viewpoint overlooking the magnificent Caucasus Mountains and deep valleys below. Later, proceed towards your hotel and complete the check-in formalities. Overnight stay at Gudauri.

After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, begin an unforgettable journey towards the spectacular mountain region of Kazbegi. Drive towards Kazbegi, also known as Stepantsminda, a beautiful mountain town surrounded by spectacular peaks. Upon arrival, change from the regular vehicle to a 4x4 vehicle. Enjoy an exciting 4x4 mountain drive towards the famous Gergeti Trinity Church. The church is located high above the town and surrounded by the magnificent peaks of the Caucasus Mountains. This is one of the most iconic landscapes in Georgia and provides spectacular opportunities for photography. Later, continue towards the dramatic Dariali Gorge, located close to the Georgia–Russia border. After completing the sightseeing, proceed towards Tbilisi. The scenic drive offers another opportunity to enjoy the spectacular landscapes of the Georgian Military Highway.
