Day-Wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Muscat

Arrive at Muscat International Airport. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and check in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to explore the city on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel in Muscat.

Day 2

Muscat – Half Day City Tour

This morning, after breakfast, we will embark on a half-day city tour of Muscat. Our first stop will be the Grand Mosque, an impressive structure that combines modern design with traditional craftsmanship. Next, we will drive along the scenic waterfront Corniche and visit the colourful Muttrah Souq. We’ll take a photo stop at the magnificent Al Alam Palace, the official residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, which is flanked by the 16th-century Portuguese forts Mirani and Jalali. We will then visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum for a glimpse into Oman’s rich history. After the tour, we will return to the hotel for the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel in Muscat.

Day 3

Muscat – Dolphin Watching Tour

This morning, after breakfast, you'll head out for the Dolphin Watching Tour. board a boat to explore the seas in search of dolphins and whales. Enjoy an exciting trip out to sea and learn more about these fascinating marine mammals. After the tour, you'll return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Muscat.

Day 4

Muscat – Wahiba

This morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Wahiba. Enjoy a scenic drive along the rugged coastal route, which offers breathtaking views of the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman. On the way, visit the picturesque Wadi Arabayeen, known for its deep pools of water surrounded by date palms. Next, stop at the Bimah sinkhole, a stunning limestone crater featuring vibrant blue-green water at the bottom.  Arrive in Sur and explore the traditional dhow factory. Continue your drive to the Wahiba Sands, a vast expanse of undulating red and white sand dunes. Upon arrival at Wahiba, check in at the Arabian Oryx Camp, where you will stay overnight.

Day 5

Wahiba – Jabal Akhdar

This morning, after breakfast, we will check out from the camp. Our first stop will be the Wahiba Sands, home to the traditional Bedouin tribe. We’ll have the opportunity to visit a Bedouin family in their simple, traditional habitat.

Next, we will explore Wadi Bani Khalid, which is known for its picturesque villages nestled in the mountains and its clear, deep blue waters.  Afterward, we will transfer to Jabal Akhdar. Upon arrival, we will explore the villages of Saiq and Wadi Bani Habib, also known as the village of old houses. We will also visit the village of Roose and Al Ain, which offer stunning views of dramatic peaks, gorges, and wadis.  Later, we will check in to our hotel, where we will stay overnight in Jabal Akhdar.

Day 6

Depart from Muscat

This morning, after having breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Muscat. On the way, visit Nizwa and stop for photos at the Round Tower Fort, which was built in the 17th century. Explore the souq, famous for its Friday cattle auctions, intricately hand-carved "Khanjars" (daggers), and ornamental silver jewellery. Afterwards, continue your journey to Muscat International Airport to catch your flight back home.

Hotel

The name of the hotel will be confirmed based on availability within your preferred star category at the time of booking, as per our WhatsApp communication. We can either suggest specific hotels that meet your star rating, or if you have any particular hotels in mind, please let us know, and we can check their availability.

Hotel check-in and check-out timings can vary significantly depending on the specific hotel and its location. There isn't a universal standard time across all places.

Therefore, the check-in and check-out timings for the hotels in your itinerary will be communicated to you separately, specific to each location, as part of your detailed hotel information.

Transportation

Your tour includes transportation via a private car for all covered zones. All state taxes, parking fees, tolls, and driver allowances are included in the quoted price. However, please note that due to union restrictions in certain areas, our vehicle will not be used for sightseeing within those specific restricted zones.

Exclusion

Please note that entrance fees and costs for any additional paid activities are not included and will be arranged based on availability. In union-restricted areas where our vehicle is not permitted and local transport isn't available, sightseeing via union vehicles will incur extra charges not covered in the tour price. Any other paid inclusions beyond those explicitly stated are also excluded.

Cancellation

Cancellation charges are subject to the policies of our various suppliers and can vary accordingly. Additionally, cancellations or changes due to unforeseen circumstances such as airline or railway disruptions, visa issues, acts of war, or natural calamities will be handled as per the respective supplier's terms and conditions.
