Day 1

Arrive Melbourne

Arrive at Melbourne Tullamarine Airport, transfer to the hotel, & Check in. The rest of the day is kept free for leisure to explore on your own. Overnight at the hotel in Melbourne.

Day 2

Melbourne – Half Day City Tour with Melbourne Skydeck

This morning, proceed to experience the city tour of Melbourne (on your own by tram). Melbourne is famous for Queen Victoria Market, Fitzroy Gardens, Albert Park – Grand Prix racetrack, Federation Square, Shrine of Remembrance, South Bank Waterfront Precinct, St. Paul's Cathedral, Bolte Bridge, Fitzroy Gardens and Captain Cook's Cottage. Melbourne Cricket Ground photo stop (during city tour). Proceed to Melbourne Sky Deck Tower on your own (Entrance Fees Included). Overnight at the hotel in Melbourne.

Day 3

Great Ocean Road Self-Drive: Melbourne to Apollo Bay, Explore Apollo Bay

Pick up your rental car and start your adventure down Victoria's Great Ocean Road. Your first stop is Bells Beach, famous for surfing and the Rip Curl Pro competition. Next, explore the quaint beach towns of Anglesea and Aireys Inlet, where you can visit the Split Point Lighthouse for stunning coastal views. Continue to Lorne, known for its shops, cafés, and scenic waterfalls like Erskine and Henderson Falls. After an hour's drive, arrive in Apollo Bay. Check into your hotel, then enjoy a walk on the beach or venture into Great Otway National Park for hiking and wildlife. Overnight in Apollo Bay.

Day 4

Great Ocean Road Self-Drive: Apollo Bay to Warrnambool

Depart for Apollo Bay and head south to the Great Ocean Road’s highlight: The Twelve Apostles, where you can take an optional helicopter ride. These limestone pillars, shaped by erosion, are a stunning sight, though only eight remain today. Nearby, visit Loch Ard Gorge and London Arch, both dramatic natural landmarks. Don't miss the Grotto sinkhole, where you can view ocean mist and rock pools. Finally, arrive in Warrnambool, a historic coastal city. Explore Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village & Shipwrecked Museum before checking in to your hotel for the night.

Day 5

Warrnambool to Grampians National Park

After breakfast, drive about two hours to Grampians National Park, home to five stunning sandstone ridges. Along the way, visit MacKenzie Falls, Brambuk Cultural Centre, and local wineries like Vineyard, Pomonal, and Great Estates. You'll see wildlife such as deer, red foxes, and kangaroos, especially in the village of Halls Gap, where you’ll stay overnight. Enjoy the incredible mountain landscapes, from smooth slopes to rugged crags.

Day 6

Halls Gap - Day at Leisure

Experience the beauty of the Grampians with a popular canoeing adventure. In the morning, leave Halls Gap to visit stunning lakes like Bellfield or Fyans. With a local guide, paddle leisurely while observing wildlife, including black swans and ducks. After the canoeing experience, return to Halls Gap, where you can choose from optional afternoon activities, such as hiking to lookout points or visiting a First Nations cultural center. Overnight at your hotel in Halls Gap.

Day 7

Grampians National Park - Melbourne

As you make your way back to Melbourne along the Western Highway, stop at Bunjil Shelter in the Black Range Scenic Reserve, 4.3 miles from Stawell. A five-minute walk from the parking area leads you to ancient First Nations artwork, depicting Bunjil, a creator deity central to their mythology.  About 1.5 hours east is Ballarat, Victoria's largest inland city. Explore this hub of contemporary arts and diverse cuisine, and don't miss Gold Panning and Underground Mine Tours at Sovereign Hill, a living museum that recreates 1851 Ballarat with costumed characters. Afterward, it's a 1.5-hour drive back to Melbourne for an overnight stay.

Day 8

Depart Melbourne

Today, check out and transfer to Melbourne Tullamarine Airport for your flight back home.

The name of the hotel will be confirmed based on availability within your preferred star category at the time of booking, as per our WhatsApp communication. We can either suggest specific hotels that meet your star rating, or if you have any particular hotels in mind, please let us know, and we can check their availability.

Hotel check-in and check-out timings can vary significantly depending on the specific hotel and its location. There isn't a universal standard time across all places.

Therefore, the check-in and check-out timings for the hotels in your itinerary will be communicated to you separately, specific to each location, as part of your detailed hotel information.

Transportation

Your tour includes transportation via a private car for all covered zones. All state taxes, parking fees, tolls, and driver allowances are included in the quoted price. However, please note that due to union restrictions in certain areas, our vehicle will not be used for sightseeing within those specific restricted zones.

Exclusion

Please note that entrance fees and costs for any additional paid activities are not included and will be arranged based on availability. In union-restricted areas where our vehicle is not permitted and local transport isn't available, sightseeing via union vehicles will incur extra charges not covered in the tour price. Any other paid inclusions beyond those explicitly stated are also excluded.

Cancellation

Cancellation charges are subject to the policies of our various suppliers and can vary accordingly. Additionally, cancellations or changes due to unforeseen circumstances such as airline or railway disruptions, visa issues, acts of war, or natural calamities will be handled as per the respective supplier's terms and conditions.
