Day-Wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Delhi / Chandigarh – Shimla (3.5 to 07 Hrs)

Arrive in New Delhi/ Chandigarh, where our representative will assist you with the greetings and reporting formalities. After a short briefing about the journey ahead, start your Scenic trip to Shimla. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Evening spent some time at the mall. Relax and enjoy the comfortable overnight journey as you head towards the Himalayas. Overnight stay at the Shimla hotel.

 

Day 2

Shimla Local - Baspa River – Chitkul (250Kms/08Hrs)

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to local sightseeing places, including The Ridge & Church, Heritage Mall, Scandal Point, Lakkar Bazar, Kali Bari Temple, Tibetan Market, Lower Bazar, and Jakhoo Temple. Later, continue your scenic drive towards Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border. En route, drive along the beautiful Baspa River, passing through apple orchards, pine forests, and charming Himalayan villages. By evening, arrive in Chitkul, known for its pristine beauty, wooden houses, and breathtaking mountain views. Take a short walk around the village and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. Overnight stay at Chitkul.

Day 3

Chitkul - Tabo via Khab Sangam & Nako (220Kms/06Hrs)

After breakfast, depart for Tabo, crossing some of the most dramatic landscapes of the Himalayas. Visit Khab Sangam, where the Spiti and Sutlej rivers meet, creating a stunning natural spectacle. Continue to Nako Village, home to the serene Nako Lake, surrounded by snow-capped peaks. After spending some peaceful moments here, proceed towards Tabo, one of the most important cultural centers of Spiti Valley. Overnight stay at Tabo.

Day 4

Tabo - Kaza via Ancient Monasteries (50Kms/02Hrs)

Morning after breakfast, Checkout from the hotel, and begin the day with a visit to the Tabo Monastery, a UNESCO-recognized 1,000-year-old monastery often called the “Ajanta of the Himalayas.” Explore its ancient murals and meditation caves. Later, drive to the stunning Dhankar Monastery, dramatically perched on a cliff overlooking the Spiti River. Enjoy panoramic valley views before continuing your journey to Kaza, the administrative and cultural hub of Spiti Valley. Overnight stay at the Kaza.

Day 5

Kaza - High-Altitude Villages Tour – Langza, Hikkim & Komic

Morning after breakfast, Today is dedicated to exploring some of the highest inhabited villages in the world. Visit Langza Village, famous for its giant Buddha statue and fossil-rich terrain. Continue to Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office, where you can send postcards from the top of the world. Proceed to Komic Village, one of the highest motorable villages, offering mesmerizing views of the Spiti Valley. Return to Kaza by evening.

Day 6

Kaza - Key Monastery, Kibber & Chicham Bridge

After breakfast, visit the iconic Key Monastery, the largest and most photographed monastery in Spiti Valley. Continue to Kibber Village, known for its traditional stone houses and snow leopard conservation area. Later, cross the spectacular Chicham Bridge, Asia’s highest suspension bridge, offering breathtaking views of the deep gorge below. Return to Kaza for a relaxed evening.

Day 7

Kaza - Kalpa via Gue Monastery (230Kms/06Hrs)

After breakfast, Checkout and depart early for Kalpa, driving through dramatic mountain terrain. En route, visit Gue Monastery, famous for the naturally preserved 500-year-old mummy of a Buddhist monk. Continue your journey towards Kalpa, known for its apple orchards and magnificent views of the Kinnaur Kailash range. Enjoy a peaceful evening amidst nature.

Day 8

Kalpa to Delhi – Farewell to the Himalayas

After breakfast, Checkout from the hotel, and begin your return journey via Shimla. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you descend from the mountains to the plains. In the evening, check in at the Delhi hotel & overnight stay.

Day 9

Delhi – Departure

After breakfast, the trip concludes here with unforgettable memories of Spiti Valley’s landscapes, monasteries, and high-altitude villages. Proceed onward to your respective cities.

Hotel

The name of the hotel will be confirmed based on availability within your preferred star category at the time of booking, as per our WhatsApp communication. We can either suggest specific hotels that meet your star rating, or if you have any particular hotels in mind, please let us know, and we can check their availability.

Hotel check-in and check-out timings can vary significantly depending on the specific hotel and its location. There isn't a universal standard time across all places.

Therefore, the check-in and check-out timings for the hotels in your itinerary will be communicated to you separately, specific to each location, as part of your detailed hotel information.

Transportation

Your tour includes transportation via a private car for all covered zones. All state taxes, parking fees, tolls, and driver allowances are included in the quoted price. However, please note that due to union restrictions in certain areas, our vehicle will not be used for sightseeing within those specific restricted zones.

Exclusion

Please note that entrance fees and costs for any additional paid activities are not included and will be arranged based on availability. In union-restricted areas where our vehicle is not permitted and local transport isn't available, sightseeing via union vehicles will incur extra charges not covered in the tour price. Any other paid inclusions beyond those explicitly stated are also excluded.

Cancellation

Cancellation charges are subject to the policies of our various suppliers and can vary accordingly. Additionally, cancellations or changes due to unforeseen circumstances such as airline or railway disruptions, visa issues, acts of war, or natural calamities will be handled as per the respective supplier's terms and conditions.
